  • Washing
    • When washing your car always spray and scrub car from top to bottom. This allows the dirt to roll downwards and off the car.
    • Always use the two bucket method. The two bucket method is you have one bucket with clean water and a grit gaurd at the bottom and the other bucket has your wash mitts and soap water. When your mit starts to build up dirt scrape it on the grit gaurd. It removes the dirt and holds it at the bottom of the clean water bucket.
    • It’s always a good idea to use a drying aid. Try using Turtle wax’s Wax and Dry spray wax. After rinsing off all the soap off your car spray the wax all over the car while it is still wet. Let the wax sit for 3-5 minutes and then spray off the car again. This allows the water the bead on the car and makes it a lot easier to dry the car.
    • When drying the car always dry the parts that are in the sun first to prevent water spots
  • Waxing
    • The best wax i have ever used is Adams Polishes Buttery Wax
    • When waxing your car always use a microfiber exterior applicator pad
    • Very carefully lightly spread the wax in a circle motion. Let the wax dry, should only take 2 minutes or so, when the wax is dry use a microfiber towel and buff out the wax using an up and down motion. Always buff up and down, NEVER IN A CIRCLE!!!
    • Always wax a car one panel at a time. For example do the hood, and then the front bumper, then a fender, so on and so on.
    • When the car is completely waxed, go back over the car with a quick detailer spray to give it that extra shine and removes any wax residue left behind when buffing.
  • Wheels and tires
    • After washing and drying your rims spray quick detailer on them and wipe them good, this takes away any leftover brake dust after washing as well as gives them that extra shine
    • When it comes to tire shine try out different kinds and types and see what you like best. I prefer using Black Magic tire gel. Other good ones are Turtle wax tire foam shine, Armor all tire foam shine or tire gel. Go ahead and try different kinds and see what you like best when it comes to shine, durability, and easiest to apply
  • Windows
    • Any glass cleaner works well
    • When cleaning your windows always spray the cleaner on a towel, not directly on the window. Spread the cleaner on the window evenly and then use the dry side of the towel to wipe off the cleaner off the window.
    • A good thing to use is Rain X water repellent. This allows water and rain to bead on the glass like how water beads on your paint when you have wax. This also allows drying the windows a lot easier, prevents it from streaking badly. When applying it spray the repellent on a microfiber and spread it on the glass evenly. Allow it to dry to a haze and like buffing wax buff out the repellent until you don’t see the haze.
  • Chrome exhaust tips
    • Turtle wax chrome polish works great
    • Lightly rub the polish on the tips and wipe away to bring that chrome shine back to life.
  • Interior
    • Tuff Scuff upholstery is great for dash, door panels and even cloth seats.
    • Spray the cleaner on a microfiber and scrub the dash to remove stains and dust. You can do the same on cloth seats
    • If you like a shiny dash try using Meguiars natural shine protectant
    • Look into getting a shop vac to vacuum you floors and seats
    • If you have rubber all weather floor mats just take them out, spray and dry them off and they are clean as new.
